Dashiza Jordan

Obituary of Dashiza Rickea Jordan

Dashiza Rickea Jordan was born in Liberty, MO, on June 9th, 2001 to Dorthea Jordan and Ricky Pryor. At the time of her birth she was Dorthea’s only daughter and third child. Dashiza had two older brothers DeAndre Jordan and Ta’Von Jordan. Dashiza relished in being the only girl, but that was short lived as she eventually welcomed the family’s newest edition, a younger sister Niya Lee. Dashiza loved being a big sister to Niya. Dashiza also took on the role as a “TT” (aunt) in December 2017 to her brother DeAndre’s daughter Alivia. Dashiza was so proud to be called both big sister and “TT”, she took each of those roles very seriously. There was nothing that Dashiza wouldn’t do for the little girls in her life. Dashiza was an Alumni of Liberty High School, where she graduated in 2019. Dashiza was a well-rounded student and athlete, who participated in a variety of sports. Dashiza played softball, basketball, and excelled in track earning her a spot on the varsity team. It was her participation in track that earned her the nickname DASH! As a scholar, Dashiza was awarded the A+ scholarship and participated in the NCAP, where she spent half her day mentoring in what would one day would be a career choice. Dashiza eventually decided to forgo the A+ scholarship to pursue further education at Missouri Western State University, where she would focus her studies to become a mental health therapist. In late April, Dashiza began working as a nursing assistant with Senior Star at Wexford Place, it was there she began working towards obtaining her CNA license, that she planned to use to allow her to work during her college years. Dashiza loved to travel, she traveled as far west as California, as far east as New York, as far north as Minnesota, and as far south as Cancun, Mexico visiting many states in between. Dashiza was the typical teenage girl who loved spending her free time with family, hanging out with her friends, listening to music, and having a good time in general. What sets Dashiza apart from her peers is that she was “mom” to many of her friends. Dashiza was never afraid to speak her mind or tell you when you were wrong or right. Dashiza had a smile and a laugh that could literally brighten the room and change the mood if needed. Dashiza had extraordinary potential to change peoples outlook on life with fine words of wisdom and uplifting motivation. Dashiza is survived by her brother DeAndre Jordan, and sister Niya Lee. Her niece Alivia Jordan and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Dashiza is preceded in death by her mother, Dorthea Rayshelle Lashawn Lee, and her brother, Ta’Von Deshawn Jordan.
